How about another book by author, Bruce Chatwin? There is even more controversy surrounding his book about the Australian Native experience, “The Songlines“. Nonetheless, his writing is incredible and completely captivating. I have Aussie friends that recommend this book so it can’t be completely devoid of factual basics. I hope that you enjoy discovering Chatwin as much as I did.
